This new album was created during a period of personal unrest. Staring at the sky taught the Melbourne-based singer-songwriter how to zoom out and put the challenges of everyday life into perspective. Because of the peace she found in nature and being outdoors, McMahon chose influences of water and rugged landscapes. Each song should encourage the listener to confront fear in any form and celebrate life in the light. McMahon's voice is also a powerful instrument that varies from soft and fragile to raw and lived-in.
