About the concert…
Popov will be assisted by the talented pianist Gulmira Issabekova, a laureate of international competitions, who will provide the musical accompaniment.
The concert program is divided into 3 parts, each highlighting a different musical tradition. From the deep seriousness of German composers such as Beethoven, Schubert and Schumann, to the exuberant expressiveness of Italian Baroque, and the rich lyricism of Slavic, especially Russian and Ukrainian folk music.
