Festival Oude Muziek Utrecht presents in De Waalse Kerk: Contre le Temps. With medieval polyphony and Gregorian melodies, Contre le Temps, consisting of four alumni of the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis, shares their creative quest for a possible past.

It will be a unique radio play, this visit to the composers of Notre-Dame from the twelfth and thirteenth centuries. Their groundbreaking music remains shrouded in mystery. How fast was the singing? How much was improvised?
