Daniel Erdmann - Thérapie de Couple

France and Germany have a turbulent past, but saxophonist Daniel Erdmann positions himself as a relationship therapist. In his group, Thérapie De Couple, he brings together fantastic musicians from both neighboring countries. For example, he links the famous cello wonder Vincent Courtois to super talents such as (bass) clarinettist Hélène Duret, double bassist Robert Lucaciu and drummer Eva Klesse.

Exuberant

Violinist Th��o Ceccaldi previously performed at the Bimhuis with his exuberant ensemble Freaks. Together with Daniel Erdmann he also plays in the band Velvet Revolution. The first performance of Thérapie De Couple took place last year at the German festival Jazzahead. Band leader and tenor saxophonist Erdmann presented, among other things, compositions dedicated to the great European film stars Louis de Funès and Romy Schneider.
