Duo Verheijen van Loon: Schuberts Winterreise

Bram and Joris are Duo Verheijen van Loon

For both of them, the sung story is a passion. Their first joint project was Schubert's Winterreise. In it, Bram's Gregorian-trained tenor voice comes together with the fortepiano as it sounded in Schubert's time. They have been performing this song cycle together since 2019, with a first tour in the Netherlands in 2021. Joris plays on a fortepiano built for him by the Maene company in Belgium based on a copy of an instrument by Johann Fritz (1811) from Vienna.

living room concert will take place in the living room of the canal house Rozengracht 55, a national monument from 1663.

Tickets include a drink after the concert.
