Galliano
London-based band Galliano is coming to Amsterdam! The group debuted in 1991 with their adaptation of a Curtis Mayfield song, at a time when a wave of bands emerged that shaped and appropriated the brand new genre of acid jazz. Galliano became widely known in 1992 with 'The Plot Thickens', on which they combined extreme harmonies and jazz rhythms with urban soul.
Circles Going Around The Sun
The band is still releasing new music, and they are doing so successfully: 'Galliano has not forgotten his skills at all and is releasing one of his best songs ever', says Dansende Beren about his latest single 'Circles Going Around The Sun'. On December 9th the group will come to the OZ with a live show!
