Grand anniversary
Time for a grand anniversary, with soloists who mean a lot to the band. Such as the idiosyncratic singer and multi-instrumentalist Fay Lovsky, the American jazz vocalist Deborah J. Carter and the Ghanaian trumpeter/singer/songwriter Berima Amo. But also vocalist/presenter Edwin Rutten and narrator/comedian Vincent Bijlo. Let yourself be carried away by highlights from the repertoire. The Konrad Koselleck Big Band surprises again and again with inspiring concerts in which light-heartedness and depth go hand in hand. Band leader Koselleck added color to themes such as 20 years after the fall of the Berlin Wall, 50 Years of Bijlmer and 75 years of the Liberation of Amsterdam with new compositions and arrangements. Together with Ellen ten Damme and Vincent Bijlo, the orchestra toured with The Concert to End All Wars along historical locations of the First World War in Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands. Together with Edwin Rutten, Koselleck wrote The Young Person's Guide to the Big Band.
