La Dispute
In 2004, the American band was formed by five friends from Michigan. They released their first EP 'Vancouver' in 2007, which was quickly followed by a flood of great releases.
Rooms of the House
2024 marks the tenth anniversary of the release of 'Rooms of the House'. This summer La Dispute will play this album in its entirety during just five shows, including the Melkweg! On this record you'll hear tracks like 'Woman (In the Mirror)', 'Hudsonville MI 1956' and '35', which tell the story of a relationship falling apart, seen through the lens of the house. On this record, frontman Jordan Dreyer tells the stories from his own family history in combination with fictional stories.
