Ramblin' on My Mind
Williams grew up in Louisiana, where she was surrounded by her mother's folk music records and her father's self-written poetry collections. You can hardly think of a better basis for a singer-songwriter. Initially, Williams was mainly inspired by blues music.
Her first album 'Ramblin' on My Mind' was released in 1979, and since then, she has released numerous albums and won a Grammy for Best Country Song for the song 'Passionate Kisses'. After her sold-out show earlier this year, Williams returns to Paradiso for a new performance on Monday, 4 March.
