About Urban Chaos

Urban Chaos is an international Amsterdam-based ensemble led by Canadian trombonist Nick Adema . Their compositions are based on a frenzy of rhythmic and melodic questions, challenging the notes of our urban cityscape, and offering moments of consistent dissonance, uniform chaos and melodic clarity.

After recording sessions at the renowned Wisseloord Studios and a long tour through Canada they are now busy with a series of European concerts. During the Dutch performances saxophonist Jasper Blom can be heard.

Featuring Nick Adema on trombone, Jasper Blom on tenor sax, Joy Shechter on piano, Azubike Onwuka on electric bass and Chen Har-Even on drums.
