Welcome to the free open-air concert of the Concertgebouw Orchestra! Opening Night 2024 promises to be a dazzling performance full of rhythm and energy, with music by famous composers such as Strauss and Stravinsky, exciting new sounds by Anna Meredith and Joey Roukens, and sor as a special guest.
Travel through the city
After Dam Square, Westerpark, and the NDSM shipyard, the Concertgebouw Orchestra will now settle in Nelson Mandela Park in Amsterdam-Zuidoost. The orchestra has been organising the adventurous Bijlmer Klassiek series with the Bijlmer Parktheater since 2022. Opening Night will travel through the city.
