Pedro Kasteleins & qbae

Born in Brazil in 1997 and based in Amsterdam, Pedro Kastelijns is a true jack-of-all-trades. He paints, makes installations and sculptures, writes poetry, gives lectures and is also a musician. He graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academy and is supported by the Mondriaan Fund. With the core question 'how do you build a house and how do you live in it?' Kastelijns worked on his new album Construção, which is due to be released this autumn. The foundation was already laid on previous albums, on which he interwoven funk and indie pop with experimental and psychedelic rock.
