Pedro Kasteleins & qbae

Born in Brazil in 1997 and now based in Amsterdam, Pedro Kastelijns is a true multidisciplinary artist. He paints, creates installations and sculptures, writes poetry, performs spoken word, and is also a musician. A graduate of the Gerrit Rietveld Academy and supported by the Mondriaan Fund, Kastelijns explores complex questions through his work, such as "how do you build a house, and how do you live in it?" His upcoming album Constru�o, set to be released this autumn, builds on themes established in his earlier albums, where he blends funk and indie pop with experimental and psychedelic rock. The album promises to further develop these rich musical foundations.
