Shishani
With voice and guitar, Shishani brings timeless songs, which on the one hand can sound soft and light-hearted, but on the other hand do not shy away from heavy subjects. Influences from all kinds of genres come together, from R&B to jazz. At the same time, Shishani investigates the musical heritage of his native Namibia. The new album 'Whispers' is like a personal journey, guided by the inner voice. The songs are performed by Shishani's band supplemented by a string quartet.

As a self-proclaimed 'gentle warrior', the vocalist seeks proximity to proclaim an emotionally powerful message. The songs challenge and make you think. At the same time they carry a mystical, healing power. Shishani previously performed on our stage under the name Namibian Tales with a group of nomadic singers from the Kalahari desert.
