Squirrel Flower
Squirrel Flower is, in her own words, the 'witch rock project' of Chicago-based musician Ella Williams. Before the release of her latest album 'Tomorrow's Fire', she could still be labeled as indie folk, but upon closer inspection this became a rock album that needed to be played loudly.

With her songs 'Full Time Job' and 'When A Plant Is Dying', Williams talks about the desperation that the artist's life often entails. The resulting frustration can be heard in her desperate lyrics and ferocious, reverb-laden guitar productions.
