Tutu Puoane - Wrapped in Rhythm
For almost ten years, Tutu Puoane has been carrying a poetry collection with her, 'In A Ribbon Of Rhythm' by poet Lebogang Mashile. Every time the singer read the poems of her South African compatriot, she heard music. Together with her husband, the Belgian pianist Ewout Perrieux, she wrote songs based on her favorite poems by Mashile.
