Language genius

With his warm and intuitive playing, Terence Samson provides relaxation and connection during this yoga concert. In addition to the modern handpan, he speaks fluent udu (West Africa), tabla (India), pandeiro (Brazil) and frame drum (Middle East). He accompanies singers Leonie Bos, Dana Devi and Anna Fernhout with these and regularly plays dance halls flat with the Ecstatic Dance band Dragonfly. His Song of Yoga speaks a universal language that brings stillness.

What is a yoga concert?

The calm, meditative and at the same time intense postures of yin yoga give the opportunity to sink deeper into consciousness, beyond the thought patterns of the mind. On the yoga mat, physical sensations intertwine with the musical improvisations. Thoughts calm down, creating space for an open encounter: the live improvised music, the yoga postures and mystical poetry bundle together, interact and strengthen each other into a new experience.

Practical information

Door opens: 10:45 am.

Bring a mat, warm clothes and possibly a water bottle and props. There are a limited number of mats available and a blanket for everyone. The instructions and poetry are bilingual.
