Come to the festive opening on September 11 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with many beautiful things amidst the artworks. In addition to the drinks, there will be an opening speech by prof. dr. Tineke A. Abma, a panel discussion with those involved, an explanation of the exhibition by project leader Eliza Perez, and music by violinist and participating artist Betty Kottis.

Cordaan Outpatient Art Team brings art and care together

Cordaan has been working with an 'ambulant art team' since 2022, a large group of artists from various disciplines. Cordaan clients who live at home and receive care can work with an artist of their choice on art and culture for a longer period of time. Just at home, the artist comes by. In addition to creativity, such a connection offers meaning, connection, development, and: not having to deal with care or illness for a while. In this way, art can be an additional answer to a question that care does not always have an answer to.    

Choice for art

Choice for Art shows work by a group of very different makers. Finished drawings and sculptures, work by clients and artists together, and insights into the process of making, of working together on art and culture. This results in work that expresses pleasure and freedom, but which also has a personal or deeper meaning. What do you want to leave behind when you are no longer here? How do you express a feeling of discomfort? What do you do if you want to turn your disability into your strength? Four guest curators who are involved in the mobile art team helped develop the exhibition.
