Celebrate the beauty of the city
Yvonne Liew-On focuses on the beauty of Amsterdam. She has cycled and walked around Amsterdam for 15 years. She has immortalized beautiful moments, beautiful situations, or special people or animals.
Yvonne has depicted, among other things, the Orange lions on Dam Square, as a symbol for the power and protection of the city. There is also a photo that initially seemed to be a failure: a photo of Leidseplein, which on closer inspection turned out to be fairytale-like. Her personal favourites are the round photo of the skyline with sunset of Amsterdam, the vertical photo of Valley and the photo of the Groentebrug on the edge of the center. In the spirit of 750 years of Amsterdam, this exhibition celebrates the most beautiful snapshots of the city.
