The Great Amsterdam Quiz - preliminary rounds

Amsterdam 750 years

On 27 October 2025, Amsterdam will celebrate its 750th anniversary. In the lead-up, the Great Amsterdam Quiz will be held annually in October. Preliminary rounds will take place at over 100 locations across the city, with the winning team from each location advancing to the grand final at Westerunie, broadcast live on AT5.

How can you participate?

In most locations, the Quiz will be in Dutch, but there are a couple where the Quiz will be in English. To reserve a spot for your team (a maximum of four people per team), you need to send an email:

The finals

When your team has won the preliminary round of your location, you will play the finals on 1 November at Westerunie. Please keep in mind that the finals are solely in Dutch; there is no translation accessible.
