Vrijheidsmaaltijd | Cultuurpodium: Roma & Sinti Centraal

On Sunday, May 5, ZID Theater is organizing a sparkling freedom meal!

This afternoon, anyone who would like to do so is welcome to join us for a diverse and special program in which we reflect on what freedom means for everyone. Makers from different disciplines, cultures and backgrounds come together this day to share their own ideas and visions through stories, music, theater and dance!

Makers within the ZID network, including former participants of the FATE (Future Academy On Tour) talent development program, will take the stage, as well as an international ensemble of Roma dancers and theater makers. Their performances will provide a preview for Proud to be Roma – Ethnic Coming out which will be shown for the first time in the Netherlands on Wednesday 8 May at Podium Mozaïek as part of ZID's annual ExploreZ Festival taking place from 7-18 May 2024.

ZID will of course provide a tasty snack for the freedom meal, but feel free to also bring something tasty to share.
