Alexander Kashpurin: Rising star of the new piano-virtuosi
The young piano virtuoso Alexander Kashpurin plays his 'single-part concert, The Story of One life' in the De Waalse Kerk (Walloon Church). Kashpurin has a unique way of making concert programs. He wants to tell a story, and to do this, he puts together several pieces of music that he performs without a break. Everyone can create their own story in his or her head, as in this musical tale for piano, in which Alexander Kashpurin effortlessly combines compositions from three centuries, from Johann Sebastian Bach to Galina Ustvolskaya.
