Kymara
Kymara's music is a beautiful combination of Nina Simone's narrative, the rawness of Janis Joplin and the soulfulness of D'Angelo. Kymara found her own unique voice in her mid-twenties, the moment she had enough life experience to incorporate major themes such as identity, love and personal development into her songs. She recently released the song No Matter What They Say, a personal song about her long-distance relationship. Kymara and her boyfriend are regularly asked 'How do you keep up with that?'. In recent years, Kymara has played at the Great Escape Festival and Eurosonic, among others. And she won the Drake YolanDa Award for Young Artists.
