Jury members YPF European Piano Competition - Tribute to Youri Egorov

Russian pianist Youri Egorov, who fled to our country in 1976, died in 1988 in Amsterdam at the age of 33 from AIDS. Many people at home and abroad still think back with admiration and nostalgia to this piano genius who died far too young. Jan Brokken wrote the beautiful book In het huis van de dichter about him. The Young Pianist Foundation manages Egorov's heritage and honors him with this unique tribute concert. With an ode to Youri Egorov by Robbert Dijkgraaf, former Minister of Education, Culture and Science.
