Viola player Takehiro Konoe is the first of three nominees for the GrachtenfestivalPrijs 2024 who presents himself in the series Meesterlijk! in the beautiful winter garden of the Anantara Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky. The winner of the GrachtenfestivalPrijs will be the Artist in Residence for the Grachtenfestival 2025.

Takehiro is an old acquaintance of the Grachtenfestival: he has been asked by many musicians for special programs in recent years and has made such an impression that he has now been nominated for this special prize. Take was given carte blanche for today's program, and he immediately knew how he would do it: he played his absolute dream program, including the Octet for Strings by the Romanian composer George Enescu. He is assisted in this by 7 of his best musical friends from home and abroad.
