Inspired by Bruckner 6 Konrad Koselleck Big Band
Jazz pianist, arranger and composer Konrad Koselleck seems like an odd man out with his big band. Bruckner in a jazzy jacket? Doubtless. Although Koselleck says that he does not want to know better than the composer and shows respect for the ideas and notes in Bruckner's Sixth Symphony. A surprising look at Bruckner with a big band that has more than earned its spurs.

Konrad Koselleck's jazzy look at Bruckner
In 2004, Konrad Koselleck gathered the best jazz musicians in the Netherlands to form the Konrad Koselleck Big Band. The adventurous company seeks 'artistic and social connection' and has already shared the stage with artists such as Ellen ten Damme, Freek de Jonge and Claron McFadden. In 2016, Koselleck, his band and Edwin Rutten had a CD hit with The Young Person's Guide to the Big Band.
