Jazz at Wester-Amstel - Fleurine & Brazilian Dream

Summer atmosphere in the Wester-Amstel gardens

Fleurine, jazz singer and initiator of the Wester-Amstel jazz concerts will perform for you with her South American band, Brazilian Dream. The band is currently touring the Netherlands. It is an excellent opportunity to herald the summer closure with this ensemble.

Of course, they hope the sun will be shining in the Wester-Amstel garden. Otherwise, this band will undoubtedly let the sun shine inside!

The band members

Brazilian Dream consists of drummer Zaza Desiderio, accordionist Beth Fadel, and guitarist Daniel de Moraes, who were born and raised in Rio de Janeiro. Fleurine has previously performed with Zaza at the North Sea Jazz Festival and the Swiss Montreux Jazz Festival.

A charity

The band has also recorded a CD 'Brazilian Dream' and this is dedicated to a special project for sports, music and education for children in the slums of Rio de Janeiro. Fleurine will tell you more about this charity on 18 May, which you can also support.
