A chain composition of image and sound.
Monotak - Broken Telephone
Experiment
Where do composers get their inspiration from? How does an image relate to sound? Or vice versa? Monotak presents an experiment to answer these questions. A composer writes 7'11" music sent to a visual artist or filmmaker. The created images are sent to the next composer, who merely uses the image to create a new 7'11" music, which goes to a new artist. Ultimately, all these pieces are linked together and all performed by the Monotak collective, composer Allan Segall and artist Marit Shalem!
