The opening concert of Amsterdam 750 is not just an event but a declaration of love to the city that connects us all. With an impressive line-up of artists such as André Hazes, S10, and Trijntje Oosterhuis, and innovative performances by the ISH Dance Collective and the ZO! Gospel Choir embodies the versatility and unique spirit of Amsterdam this evening. The Metropole Orchestra interweaves classical dance with modern beats while unique archive images and recordings bring the story of Amsterdam to life.

The confirmed artists are The Amsterdams Andalusisch Orkest, André Hazes, BELLA, Berget Lewis, Donnie, Edsilia Rombley, Gershwin Bonevacia, Het Nationale Ballet, Huub van der Lubbe, ISH Dance Collective, Joost van Bellen, Latifah, Metropole Orkest, Niki Jacobs, Rayen Panday, Rene Froger, S10, Sef, Sophie Straat, Trijntje Oosterhuis, Van der Laan en Woe, Willeke Alberti, and the ZO! Gospel Choir.

The municipality makes a quarter of the tickets available to Amsterdam residents who are specially committed to the city or cannot purchase a ticket. For example, from March 8, young people up to 26 with a City Pass can buy a ticket at a greatly reduced rate. Numerous Amsterdam residents who are especially committed to the city will also receive a personal invitation in the coming period.
