The Capybara Piano Quartet won first prize at the renowned Osaka chamber music competition in 2023. The violist of the company, Takehiro Konoe, went home the year before as the winner of the Oskar Nedbal competition in Prague. Talent in abundance, tonight in the Kleine Zaal: the Japanese-Dutch Konoe plays romantic music with his Capybara Piano Quartet in the series Jonge Nederlanders. A hymn of praise from the youngest generation to the most beautiful notes of Mendelssohn and Brahms.
