Deadeye
The trio Deadeye combines jazz, rock, British folk and 20th-century classical music from a broad musical spectrum. Unpredictable, yet danceable. Complex, yet melodic. Relief Party plays dance music for strange people, written during that long-ago time when we were still each other's hairdressers and a popular frenzy broke out about toilet paper. A celebration of life and the collective human experience by greats of European avant-jazz. Their first album is now finally available on vinyl. 'Reinier Baas is the uncrowned king of contemporary jazz. A breathtakingly talented guitarist who knows how to impress and move with his instrument and is also a gifted composer who dares to take risks," says Jazzism.
