Zaal 100 is an Amsterdam stage for unheard sounds, celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. Sparkling shows, exciting sound adventures and ecstatic moments: it's all possible here and happens here. This often involves a lot of improvisation, where musicians develop something new together.

Every Tuesday, the Impro Jazzcafé is held here, where new combinations of musicians are tried out, and Amsterdam improvisers and foreign colleagues passing through can meet each other. In addition, producers and DJs can also be heard on Thursdays, the Fanfare van de Eerste Liefdesnacht rehearses on Sundays, and there are occasional blues jams and spiritual world music sessions.

Zaal 100 has invited the various musical 'blood groups' to work together during a spontaneous jam session, in which elements from jazz, hip-hop, rock, blues and world music can be extensively discussed. Where is that going? Where is it going? In any case, in all directions, but certainly in the right direction. Expect the unexpected!
