The WesterCantorij will sing a program around the theme of Remembrance & Commemoration in the Westerkerk in Amsterdam. Fauré's compelling Requiem will be performed in an arrangement for string quintet, choir and organ. The solo parts will be performed by the young talents Wessel Wirken (baritone) and Isabel Houtmortels (soprano). In addition, Puccini's rarely performed Requiem for choir, viola and organ will be performed. Free admission, collection afterwards
