Every Wednesday a lunch concert is given in the Westerkerk at 13:00 by Evan Bogerd and various guest organists. A break from the week with the most beautiful music from the monumental Duyschot organ.

Lunch concerts
For many years, there have been weekly lunch concerts in the Westerkerk where the Duyschot organ excels under the hands of young top talents. Baroque and romantic music are widely discussed. The work of Johann Sebastian Bach is central. There is also frequent improvisation, a craft almost extinct in the classical world.
Admission is free, as are the seats. However, a contribution is asked for the collection afterwards.
Evan Bogerd, Cantor-Organist of the Westerkerk, provides these lunch concerts with various guest organists.
