IJ-Salon - Round and pointed
In Brecht's Die Rundköpfe und die Spitzköpfe he described in detail in 1932 how a society can slide into the abyss. Brecht had the game played between people with round and pointed heads. Hanns Eisler set it to music. In this theatrical concert, singer and actress Kikki Géron tells a committed story together with the musicians.

A committed story
Kikki Géron, programmer: 'Back then, the Jews were the victims of an extreme right-wing mindset. Even today, we turn it into a finger-pointing contest. For example, it is now apparently opportune to talk about refugees as fortune seekers. Unfortunately, Brecht's story is still relevant.'
