Laura Misch
Laura Misch is a true multi-talent from London. She is not only a sought-after saxophonist, but also sings and writes her own songs and works as a producer with electronics and field recordings. The British saxophonist, singer-songwriter, electronic producer and field recordist draws inspiration for her songs from nature and the city. She will perform at the Bimhuis.

Sample the Earth
On her recent album Sample the Earth, all these talents come together. She draws inspiration from the patterns in nature, just like on her previous album Sample the Sky, a plea for ecological awareness. In her hybrid of acoustic instruments and electronics, Laura Misch takes her cue from the female pioneers of electronic music, such as Caterina Barbieri and Suzanne Ciani. In her current solo performances, she unites three talents in an organic way: saxophone, vocals and synthesizer. She will also release a new album in 2025.
