Ramon Valle & Vernon Chatlein
Vernon Chatlein is a percussionist and composer with an extensive palette of colours. Originally from Curaçao, he spent two years in Cuba studying music. He then moved to the Netherlands to continue his studies with the godfather of Curaçaoan jazz, Randal Corsen. Ramón Valle is a great man. Since his debut album, almost thirty years ago, the Cuban jazz pianist with his idiosyncratic cocktail of genres has become an indispensable part of the international stages. He has just released his latest album, 'Flashes from Holland', with Jesse van Ruller among others.
