In this ancient, sacred space you can listen to music the way Rembrandt experienced it in the 17th century. Stories of Rembrandt's life are intertwined with the music that inspired him, like a musical journey through his world.

The Westerkerk is transformed into an authentic decor, lit by candlelight, bringing the ambience of Rembrandt's time to life. The highs and lows of his life are told with great care and respect, conveying the depth of Rembrandt's character. Conducted by Patrick van der Linden, eight singers and nine musicians bring the music to life. Experience a tribute to the place where Rembrandt rests, in the church that played such a pivotal role in his life.

The two performances of this concert take place on the 14th and 15th of November, 2025.
