Sven Figee & Peter Beets Quartet ft. Gideon Tazelaar
What do you get when you put the Netherlands' hardest swinging pianist Peter Beets on stage with the soulful and energetic Sven Figee on his roaring Hammond organ? That's right, the best of both worlds. Together they give their energetic twist to both well-known American standards and their own work, supported by bassist Steven Zwanink and drummer Martijn Vink (The Ploctones, Metropole Orchestra).

Absolute giants of swing on Hammond organ and grand piano
Special guest Gideon Tazelaar provides an extra dimension on tenor sax. Peter Beets is one of the most virtuoso jazz pianists, is part of The Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw and has previously collaborated with such diverse musicians as Stochelo Rosenberg, Benjamin Herman and Jeff Hamilton. Keyboardist Sven Figee performed on all major stages with his Sven Hammond Soul and made a name for himself on television with his big band.
