Dvořák's irresistible masterpiece

The Czech composer wrote it during his stay in the United States, during the years when he was conservatory director in New York. Inspired by the music of the Indian and African-American population and also out of nostalgia for his Bohemian homeland, he incorporated attractive and stirring folk melodies into this symphony. The National Symphony Orchestra of Romania plays Dvořák's irresistible masterpiece under the direction of the young Romanian conductor Gabriel Bebeselea.
