Tchaikovsky's Romeo and Juliet
Tonight, the Residentie Orchestra, conducted by Kerem Hasan, will perform the ever popular romantic poem about the famous love couple Romeo and Juliet. Tchaikovsky does not follow Shakespeare's story literally, but he does conjure up the moving love story, from the passionate love scenes and the arguments between the two rival families to the inevitable tragic ending.
