Princess Christina Competition
The 17-year-old Turkish Ilayda Afşar started playing the oboe at the age of 10 and soon played in the Bilkent Youth Symphonic Orchestra. After 5 years, she left for the Musica Mundi School in Belgium to study with Karel Schoofs. She made a big impression in the national semi-final of the Princess Christina Competition, and today, she provides a varied program in collaboration with Evan.
