Jan van Duikeren’s Fingerprint ft. Jesse van Ruller
Fingerprint is a Dutch star formation led by trumpeter Jan van Duikeren. His vision, skills and unprecedented drive are central, but all players are given space in this quintet. It is also clear to hear that these musicians excel in nu-jazz, funk, soul and gospel. For this album presentation in the Bimhuis, guitarist Jesse van Ruller is our guest.

Jan van Duikeren
Jan van Duikeren is one of the most sought-after trumpet players in the Netherlands. He has worked with world stars such as Candy Dulfer, Lonnie Smith and Joe Jackson. He received compliments from the legendary producer Quincy Jones. In Fingerprint he forms the front line with saxophone veteran Tom Beek, who previously performed with Dizzy Gillespie, Pat Metheny and Randy Brecker, among others. 'Van Duikeren is the most sought-after trumpet player in the Netherlands. That is because you can count on him. He is technically excellent and therefore reliable and can perfectly adapt to any band. Without losing his own identity' (de Volkskrant).
