Frequent prize winner Eva Gevorgyan
Anyone who listens to Eva Gevorgyan will not believe that she is only celebrating her twentieth birthday this year. “She is a mature musician who rises above her years and who knows exactly how to use her pianistic skills,” according to her renowned piano teacher, Natalia Trul. Eva Gevorgyan is a prize winner of more than forty piano competitions, and she launched her debut album in 2022. Inspired by Rachmaninoff's famous statement, 'Music should come straight from the heart and speak only to the heart', she hopes to touch as many people as possible with her music.
Nocturnes, waltzes and polonaises
Chopin's music plays a common thread in Eva Gevorgyan's career, from her first public performances to winning prestigious competitions thanks to her remarkable Chopin interpretations. Her debut album also contains some of Chopin's most beautiful waltzes and nocturnes, in combination with 24 Preludes by Scriabin. Both composers will also perform during Eva's debut in the Concertgebouw.
