'Less' is indeed 'more' with The Monochrome Project, which, with its unique lineup of eight trumpets, has left a crushing impression in the Muziekgebouw many times before. Sometimes with only a few notes, but with an enormous richness of sound and imagination in the compositions. The ensemble presents a new work by Elena Rykova, which focuses on the spatial possibilities of sound.
World premiere
Elena Rykova's new work will have its world premiere tonight at 8:15 p.m. during the concert by The Monochrome Project.
