Taylor Eigsti won the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Instrumental Album with his previous album 'Tree Falls'. Earlier this year, the American pianist released the successor 'Plot Armor', a diverse, richly orchestrated album full of surprising stylistic twists. Now he presents his compositions together with absolute star players from American jazz, including singer Gretchen Parlato and saxophonist Ben Wendel, who can also be heard on the album.

Taylor Eigsti released his first album at the age of fourteen. Since then he has enjoyed success as a solo artist and accompanist for major pop and jazz stars, from John Mayer and Sting to Dave Brubeck, Esperanza Spalding and Joshua Redman. He also became a permanent member of the Terence Blanchard E-Collective. Plot Armor was released on GroundUp Records, the label of Snarky Puppy bandleader Michael League.
